About Me

I am currently a student at the University of North Florida, graduating with a bachelor's degree in communication with a track in multimedia journalism. Through different programs in high school and college, I found my love for journalism. I was the morning producer and news anchor for our daily announcements and I have adored being in front of the camera since. These programs opened my eyes to an exciting opportunity of writing and communicating with interesting people.

As a journalist, I would love to continue working on bringing awareness to mental health issues and the LGBTQ+ community through my work. I believe that diversity in the newsroom is critical to the evolution of news. Bringing more voices to the atmosphere of mainstream media would allow for more people to be heard.
